My name is Victoria Kras and I am majoring in Biomedical Sciences at Western Michigan University and minoring in Chemistry and Gender and Women’s Studies. At WMU I participated in Dr. Kathryn Docherty’s Air Microbiome research, where I gained experience with techniques such as PCR and DNA extraction. I am originally from Brazil but I moved to the USA very young, so in my junior year I decided to do a one semester study abroad at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. There, I had the pleasure to work in a research lab that focuses on the effects of exercise training on the central and peripheral adjustments on cardiovascular control in hypertensive and normotensive individuals with Dr. Lisete Compagno Michelini.

I am currently a medical scribe and an SI leader for Organic Chemistry I.

I created this page to share my notes and materials from when I took Orgo I with you all, as well as to share resources I think might be benefical.
